The Punjab government is committed to enhancing the skills and knowledge of government officers working in the province.

In order to build the capacity of the government officers, Punjab Planning and Development Department intends to hold series of short training programmes by top institutes in key areas, including procurement, project management and monitoring and evaluation.

Planning and Development Punjab Secretary Iftikhar Ali Sahoo said this on Thursday while addressing the concluding ceremony of short training course on Public Sector Procurement Management for government officers at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
