Pakistan pacers rise in T20I rankings
LAHORE: Several Pakistan bowlers, including Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Imad Wasim, have climbed the ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings following their recent performances in the series against England.
Afridi, known for his express pace, moved up three spots to share the 11th position. Meanwhile, the fast-bowling duo of Haris Rauf and Imad Wasim progressed two and fourteen places, respectively, to reach 25th and 38th positions.
Fakhar Zaman's blistering knock of 45 runs from just 21 balls in the second T20I against England propelled him six places higher in the batting rankings. He now sits at the 51st spot. England captain Jos Buttler's impressive 84-run knock in Birmingham helped him climb one place to seventh among T20I batters. His teammate, Jonny Bairstow, also benefited, jumping eight positions to 36th.
