Certificate distribution ceremony of elderly healthcare programme
Islamabad:Alkhidmat Raazi Hospital (AKRH) launched the Elderly Healthcare Programme, which is considered the most demanding course these days. Now after the completion of 7th batch, closing ceremony was arranged at AKRH here.
On the occasion, Engr. Abu Umair Zahid, chairman Alkhidmat Raazi Hospital was the chief guest. Dr Kausar Firdoos, ex-senator and director of the programme was hosting the event. Syed Arshad Farooq member management committee, Dr Mahwish D M S, teachers, students and other managers were also present.
The ceremony started with recitation of Holy Quran, national anthem was presented by the students. Dr Awais Qayum, senior instructor of programme explained the importance of the course, he said that the basic aim is to provide the knowledge and practical skills to students to serve the elders, disables, paralysed and mentally disturbed patients. He welcomed the guests and paid tribute to the management. He appreciated and congratulated the successful students and participants.
Dr Kausar Firdoos said that with the help of Allah we became able to start this programme. People helped and appreciated us in the commencement of this noble cause. She urged the students to understand the importance of this course because it prepares us and creates ability to serve the human being. We can please Allah by using this knowledge and skill. We may affiliate it with Riphah University soon. Chief guest, Engr. Abu Umair Zahid, chairman, AKRH said in his short speech said that the completion of this course is a memorable event for the students, he congratulated students.
