SUKKUR: Five people including two brothers drowned during beating the heat in a canal.
Reports said that Abdul Khaliq and Nadeem Jamali, children of the primary school teacher, drowned during swimming in a canal to beat the heat in “Peer Shakh” near Bhan Saeedabad. Local divers after the hectic efforts of an hour recovered their bodies from a canal. Reports said that Veero Gujrati also drowned during bathing in Mitrao canal, while his body shifted to his village. Reports said that 23-year old Rahul and his brother Haresh, sons of Harichand, drowned in Indus River from Al-Manzar during swimming to cool off. Bodies recovered by the divers and shifted to their native village Amanabad near Jamshoro.
