‘Mayo’s cardiac dept capacity being increased’
LAHORE: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique visited Mayo Hospital's Department of Cardiac Surgery. On this occasion, Chairman Board of Directors PIC Prof Farqad Alamgir, CEO Mayo Hospital Prof Ahsan Nauman, COO Mayo Hospital Prof Faisal Masood, Professor of Cardiac Surgery Prof Irfan Azmatullah Khawaja, Professor of Cardiology Prof Imran, Dr Nadeem Elahi and other faculty members were present. The provincial health minister reviewed the medical facilities provided to patients in the Department of Cardiac Surgery. Prof Irfan Azmatullah and Prof Imran gave a briefing in this regard.
Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the capacity of the Department of Cardiac Surgery was being increased, HR in the department would be completed and the number of beds was also being increased. The minister said that he would soon convene a meeting to increase the capacity of the Department of Cardiac Surgery of the Mayo Hospital.
