KP to run special flights to bring back students
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has decided to run special flights to bring back the Pakistani students stranded in Kyrgyzstan.
An official handout said the first flight will arrive in Peshawar today (Monday) from Bishkek while the second flight will bring back the students and other Pakistani citizens from Kyrgyzstan tomorrow. The handout said that whoever wanted to avail of the free air service could contact the WhatsApp numbers 3333049-0343/0955550-0344 based on the first come first served. The families of the Pakistanis stranded in Kyrgyzstan can contact the toll-free number 1700 for information. In a video, the chief minister said that it was the responsibility of the government to bring back the stranded students to the country safely.
He said that the government was also facilitating the return of the people belonging to the other provinces. He said the government would spare no effort to ensure the safety of the stranded students.
