YDA won’t allow other faction to use its name
LAHORE : The Young Doctors Association (YDA), Pakistan, Saturday said the YDA Pakistan will not allow any other faction to use its name.
It was decided in meeting of the YDA Pakistan that was attended by senior office-bearers including YDA Pakistan secretary general Dr Salman Kazmi, Dr Talha Sherwani, Dr Rana Sohail, Dr Usman Ashraf, Dr Azim Gul, Dr Imran Shah, Dr Amar Anwar and Dr Imran Butt.
It was decided that a case will be filed in the sessions court against other group of doctors for using the name of the YDA Pakistan.
Dr Salman Kazmi said the YDA has been a registered organisation under the provisions of Societies Registration Act, 1860. "No unauthorised entity can use the name of YDA Pakistan," he said and warned that YDA Pakistan will not allow anyone to use its name.
