LAHORE: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott visited the Drug Advisory Training Hub here and discussed the ongoing awareness campaign against drugs in Lahore city, treatment facilities and other issues.
Anti-Narcotics Campaign Consultant Syed Zulfiqar Hussain briefed the British high commissioner. Vice Chairman Syed Mohsin, head of British High Commission’s Lahore office Clara Strandhoj, Assistant Director FIA Lahore Syed Zain, DSP Zafar Abbas Naqvi, Secretary Adeel Rashid, Mian Shahid Mahmood, Shahzad Tanveer were also present.
The British HC said it was important to prevent the use of drugs as well as their spread. She regretted that young people the UK, Pakistan and other countries were being affected by drugs. Jane Marriott appreciated the efforts of Drug Advisory.
