PU entrance test: Last date for online registration today

LAHORE: The last date for online registration of candidates for the entrance test for admissions in undergraduate programmes of Punjab University is Friday (today).

According to a PU spokesperson, the entrance test is mandatory for admissions in the 2024 session for which candidates can register online till May 17. He said that the entrance test for admissions to undergraduate programmes is expected on June 9.

He said that the entrance test would be conducted in all major cities of the country. He said that 25% marks for admissions in PU were reserved for written entrance tests and seven different entrance tests will be conducted for different undergraduate programmes. He said that the candidates should visit the university website www.pu.edu.pk for eligibility criteria and other details.

PU results announced

Punjab University (PU) Examinations Department declared the results of different examinations on Thursday.

According to details, these exams include MA Economics, Islamic Studies, History, Urdu, MSc Applied Psychology Mathematics, Physics, Zoology Part-II supplementary examination 2023, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) first & second year and BS Applied Geology Fourth Professional annual examination 2023. LDA’s operation against illegal constructions continues

LAHORE:Continuing the operations against illegal constructions, the teams of LDA demolished several illegal constructions along Raiwind Road and adjacent areas here on Thursday. LDA teams demolished illegal halls, shops, under construction shops and workshops on Raiwand Road, Muhafiz Town and Canal Road under the supervision of Chief Town Planner Azhar Ali. Four illegal under construction structures were demolished near Gulbahar Society and Abdul Sattar Edhi Road.
