Three injured in cylinder blast

LAHORE:Three people were injured in a cylinder explosion in Mini Market, Gulberg in a shop here on Monday. A fire broke out due the sudden explosion. Nearby people tried to control it, but it turned into a huge fire. Rescue teams were alerted, who reached the spot and extinguished the fire and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.

Man dies as gun goes off

A man died when his gun went off accidently near Bahria Town. The victim identified as Nauman Abdul Rehman was busy cleaning his 12-bore gun near Clock Chowk Quetta when went off accidently, killing him on the spot.

Kidnapped transgender recovered

The Virtual Women Police Station of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority recovered a transgender person kidnapped and tortured by a gang. Virtual Women Police Station received a call about kidnapping and torture by transgender person.

The police were dispatched to the location, and prompt action was taken to recover transgender from the kidnappers. The spokesperson for Safe Cities said that the police have arrested the suspects and initiated legal action. The Virtual Women Police Station has provided police assistance in over 4,300 cases.

13 die in road accidents

At least 13 people died, whereas 1,543 were injured in 1,424 accidents in all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of these, 741 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 802 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue Medical Teams.

Three bodies found

Three bodies were found in canal in different areas of the City here on Monday. The first case was reported in Raiwind Jia Bagga where a passerby spotted the body in canal and alerted police. A team reached the spot on information and removed the body to morgue for autopsy. The other body was recovered from canal on Mall Road. The third body was recovered from canal near Sozo Water Park. The victim was identified as Muntazir Ali.
