Imran is in good health, happy mood in jail: Alvi
Alvi stated in the present situation while we had a free media, the entire world had an idea what had been going on in Pakistan
LAHORE: Former president Dr Arif Alvi has said that dialogue are in the interest of the country and he is ready to hold negotiations with anyone for Pakistan's welfare.
Talking to media on Sunday, Dr Arif Alvi said that he had always defended Pakistan Army and he believed it was his Army. Alvi went on to say that our institutions seemed to be stuck in a blind alley.
To a question, he said the allegations levelled by six judges of Lahore High Court (LHC) carried weight and stated justice could only be done if the institution of judiciary became independent. Dr Arif Alvi also told media about his meeting with Imran Khan and stated he was in good health and happy mood.
He further said that the present government had come to power through form 47 and it lacked public mandate, adding its continuation would not serve the interest of the country.

Condemning Israeli atrocities in Gaza, Dr Alvi said the entire world saw the brutality of Israel against innocent Palestinians due to social media but it facing curbs in Pakistan.
He also stated that aid from Saudi Arabia would benefit Pakistan. Regarding dialogue, he said it was vital for Pakistan and stated he would only accept defeat once he felt defeated.
