After the inspection report of the purchase of wheat in 2022 came out, senior PTI leader and former Sindh Assembly member Shahzad Qureshi has criticised the Sindh government and those incompetent in it regarding the damage caused to the public treasury of billions of rupees.
Strict legal action should be taken against officers of the food department who caused a loss of more than Rs3 billion to the public treasury by mixing defective wheat and soil.
If action is not taken against the officers involved in this scam, all senior officers will be considered involved in this scam, he said.
