Gujrat set to get IT university: Shafay
LALAMUSA: Plans are under way to establish an Information Technology University in Gujrat over a 10-acre area, said Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Chaudhry Shafay Hussain.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that the Department of Artificial Intelligence shall stand as a testament to our commitment to cutting-edge innovation. He said: “In just two weeks, the Gujrat Waste Management Company will be back and better than ever. The Ceramic College will be transformed to reach international standards, and a new lab for ceramics will be built. The World Bank will help revamp Gujrat’s sewerage system for a cleaner future.
Solar power will be embraced, with plans for a solar panel manufacturing facility. Our vision is to elevate Gujrat to new heights with a robust and visionary infrastructure.” He said: “It is a symphony of progress and a testament to our collective resolve to elevate Gujrat to unprecedented heights.”
