Two brothers killed over land dispute in Swabi
SWABI: Two brothers were killed over a piece of land by their rivals in Topi Tehsil, Rescue 1122 and police officials said on Wednesday.
Saqib Shah, a rescue official, said that the emergency rescue team reached the spot soon after the incident and shifted the injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Topi in a serious condition.
Both the seriously injured brothers were taken to the THQ hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries, he added.Sultan Zeb, brother of the deceased, told the police that his brothers were stopping the labourers from harvesting wheat on the disputed land when Sherin Zada, Gul Zada and Gohar Zada opened fire, fatally injuring both of them.The deceased were identified as Tayyab Khan, 40, and Jahanzeb Khan, 35.
