CHARSADDA: The two-member probe committee has submitted its report to the high-ups of the Education Department for taking action against three officials for alleged irregularities in appointment of 74 teachers in the district during the tenure of caretaker government in the province.
After completion of investigation in the appointment of teachers, the committee submitted its findings to the Elementary and Secondary Education Department Directress Samina Altaf.The report has found violation of rules and regulation by District Education Officer Suraya Khattak, Account Officer Mazhar Khan and Clerk Sajjad and recommended their removal from their posts to pave the way for further investigation into the irregularities.
The committee has also recommended the inclusion of relevant sub-divisional education officers in the probe and securing the record of illegal appointment of teachers.Samina Altaf said that the fact-finding committee had submitted its report and now all legal obligations would be fulfilled in the light of its recommendations.
It may be mentioned that Directress Samina Altaf constituted a two-member committee soon after a scandal surfaced regarding illegal appointment of teachers in schools of Charsadda district in the tenure of caretaker government.
