NOWSHERA: Two persons, including an employees of Motorway Police, were killed and two others sustained injuries when a speeding mini-truck hit their vehicle on Grand Trunk (GT) Road in Jehangira Chowk on Tuesday.
Motorway Police Patrolling Officer Amjad Ali told police in injured condition that they were issuing tickets to the driver of trailer bearing registration number GLTA-6096 Tariq Abbas of Bhakkar for traffic rules violation.
He added that a speeding mini-truck driven by Zahid Iqbal hit them and their vehicle parked at the roadside.
As a result, Tariq Abbas and Motorway Police fine collector Burhan were crushed to death while he and Inspector Khalid Usman sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, Nowshera.
