CPSP council elects office-bearers
Islamabad: The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) council has elected Professor Muhammad Shoaib Shafi as president and Professor Khalid Masood Gondal as senior vice president while Professor Abbas Memon has been elected as vice president College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan for one year.
The 210th Council Meeting has also elected Professor Muhammad Masroor as Treasurer and Professor Jehangir Khan and Professor Syed Khalid Ahmed Ashrafi as members of the Executive Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan . Professor Abrar Ashraf Ali and Professor Ambreen Afzal have been elected as members of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan Finance Committee for one year.
Meanwhile, the President College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan Professor Shafi has nominated Professor Khalid Masood Gondal to represent the CPSP in Pakistan Medical and Dental Council as Member. Professor Asghar Butt, Councillor CPSP has been appointed as Director General International Relations and Professor Muhammad Aamer Zaman Khan has been appointed as Director General Medical Education according to a notification of the CPSP issued on Saturday. President CPSP Professor Muhammad Shoaib Shafi would also serve as Regional Director at College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan Islamabad Chapter.
Former Provincial Minister of Health and Welfare, Dr. Jamal Nasir congratulated newly elected president of the College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) Prof. Muhammad Shoaib Shafi and also all other office bearers of CPSP. Dr Jamal Nasir expressed the hope that they would spare no stone unturned in the service of the college.
