Man held for alleged assault of boy in Kurram

PARACHINAR: A man was arrested here on Wednesday on the charges of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy and making a video of the act in Kurram tribal district.

The victim registered the first information report with the police, alleging that the accused identified as Syed Tahir, a shopkeeper, had sexually assaulted him besides filming the act. He alleged that the accused was using the videos to blackmail him. Acting on his complaint, the police arrested the accused and seized a computer from his shop. The hard disc of the computer contained seven to eight more videos.

Meanwhile, a local social figure Mir Afzal Khan Turi demanded strict punishment for the accused after thorough investigation into the incident.
