KARACHI: Karachi Customs Intelligence Director Engineer Habib has clarified a report about four personnel of the Anti-Smuggling Organisation of the Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Customs, saying they have not been arrested.
He said on Tuesday that the personnel had been sent off duty over a complaint.
The news report had made it clear that the personnel were caught, but after being held for a few hours they were allowed to leave on the assurance of senior officers that a probe would be conducted against them.
