The Hamara Lyari Film Festival at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) is being organized on April 28 (Sunday).
The event will begin at 9am and will continue until 6pm. It promises to be a day of excitement and entertainment for Karachiites and visitors alike, featuring film screenings, talks, a photo exhibition, drum circles, music, and an award show.
Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Sindh minister of culture, tourism, antiquities & archives, will be the chief guest along with Vice Chancellor BBSUL Dr Amjad Memon. Six awards will be presented for the best short films and documentaries, along with one award for the best presentation to students of Benazir Bhutto University. Prizes range from 300,000 to Rs50,000.
