BISE Bannu critisized for cluster exam policy
PESHAWAR: Private Education Network North Waziristan on Monday rejected the cluster examination policy of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bannu.
Speaking at a press conference here, PEN office-bearers Mujahid Rahim and others demanded the withdrawal of the policy and sought action against the chairman and controller of examination of the BISE Bannu for the policy which they said would create problems for the students.
They termed the policy as anti-students which would trouble the students who, according to them, would find it difficult to pursue education. The PEN office-bearers said the policy was strange as it forced the students to appear in the examination away from their homes.
They said other boards of the province had no such policy. They said under the policy in question, the students of Bannu, North Waziristan and Lakki Marwat would be required to take examinations at any hall and anywhere which would create difficulties for them. The PEN office-bearers claimed that the board of directors’ policy had been rejected by the chief minister and secretary of education but still, the board was creating problems for the students.
