MNA apprises PM of rain losses in Chitral
CHITRAL: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Ghazala Anjum held a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday and apprised him of the challenges faced by the people of Chitral due to rain-related incidents.
Upon learning about the difficulties, the prime minister directed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to collaborate with MNA Ghazala Anjum to plan the rehabilitation of rain-affected people and the restoration of infrastructure.
Assuring the MNA of his government’s support, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the commitment of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nto stand by the affected residents of Chitral during the current challenging period.
The legislator expressed her gratitude to the prime minister on behalf of the people of Chitral. She recalled the party’s welfare schemes in her native district, as well as the significant financial assistance provided by the federal government following the devastating earthquake of 2015 in Chitral.
