2,475 Sikh Yatrees arrive to attend Baisakhi festival

NANKANA SAHIB: Some 2,475 Indian Sikh Yatrees have reached at Gurdwara Janamasthan in three special trains to participate in Baisakhi festival on Tuesday.
The railway station echoed with the slogans of ‘Jo Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal’ at the arrival of trains. A warm reception was accorded to them by District Police Officer Sayed Aziz, ASP Sabra Ayyub and officials of ETPB.
Later, they were taken to Gurdwara Janamasthan amid tight security. The Yatrees participated in their rituals including Matha Teki.Meanwhile, group leader of Indian Sikh Yatrees Sardar Kalwant Singh said the Yatrees accorded such reception which they would never forget.
