Pakistan players shine in Australia Junior Squash 2024

LAHORE: The Pakistan squash team once again demonstrated its remarkable talent and determination by securing gold and bronze medals in the Australia Junior Squash Championship 2024.

Held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre in Albert Park, Victoria, the championship witnessed outstanding performances from Pakistani players across various categories. M. Harmas Ali Raja, Fawad Khan, and Azaan Ali Khan secured bronze medals in the Under 11, Under 13, and Under 15 categories, respectively.

Amir Nawaz, Honourary Secretary of the Pakistan Squash Federation, extended congratulations to all the young champions. He lauded their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. Boys U-13:

Ibrahim Zeb (PAK) secured victory against Brodie Bennett (NZ) by 3-0 (11-3, 11-7, 11-6) Girls U-13:

Mahnoor Ali (PAK) outshined Emily Senior (Malaysian) by 3-0 (11-5, 11-4, 11-4) Girls U-17:

Mehwish (PAK) emerged victorious over Erin Wyllie (Malaysian) by 3-2 (10-12, 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, 11-6)
