Ministry unveils ambitious reforms to revolutionise education sector

Islamabad: In a landmark announcement, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has revealed a comprehensive reform agenda aimed at transforming the educational landscape across the nation. Chaired by the Secretary, a pivotal meeting held in Islamabad saw the unveiling of a series of directives designed to usher in a new era of excellence in education under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).

These directives, endorsed by Heads of Institutions and key stakeholders, encompass a wide array of initiatives, including the integration of FDE officials into governance committees, empowerment of educational leaders through delegation of powers, introduction of mind games for cognitive development, implementation of reward systems for exemplary performance, and enhancement of student support services.

Furthermore, the reforms encompass measures to promote physical and mental well-being, expand student enrolment, foster innovation and skill development, and promote eco-friendly practices. With a focus on accountability and holistic growth, these transformative measures aim to elevate educational standards and empower students and educators alike towards a brighter future.
