Undoubtedly, aerial firing is a brutal and illegal act, extremely dangerous to human lives, and it violates the law of the land. This menace is prevalent across the country, where people from both urban and rural areas engage in this inhumane and extremely violent practice, resulting in numerous injuries and random deaths of innocent citizens, as well as property damage.
There are many decent and peaceful ways in which people can express their joy and celebrate without resorting to such dangerous practices. The responsibility lies with the district administrations to stand alongside the police in discouraging aerial firing and arresting those culprits involved in this heinous crime.
