Labourer killed in Nowshera coalmine blast

NOWSHERA: A labourer was killed and two others sustained injuries in a coalmine explosion at Shahkot village in Cherat area on Wednesday, sources said.The sources said the workers were busy mining when gas accumulated inside the mine led to an explosion.A labourer identified as Bakht Rawan belonging to Shangla district was killed on the spot while two others were wounded. The body of the dead labourer was shifted to his hometown for burial.The injured were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Nowshera. Their condition was stated to be stable.
