Bid to smuggle drugs foiled

LANDIKOTAL: The police foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics from Landikotal to Peshawar and arrested two alleged peddlers, officials said on Thursday.
Station House Officer(SHO) Landikotal Amjad Khan Afridi said that taking action on a tip-off, they constituted teams and raided a godown in Landikotal Bazaar.He said the police recovered 12kgs of hashish and 2400grams of Ice from the godown. Two persons
identified as Najeeb and Haroon were arrested, he said, the drugs were brought from Afghanistan and were being smuggled to Peshawar.The police registered a case and started an investigation.
