Two arrested for committing fraud with car company

LAHORE : Factory Area Police arrested two suspects involved in committing fraud with a private company’s workshop and torturing its employee.

Reportedly, a suspect brought a car to a motor company workshop for repairing purpose.

When the company asked for repairing bill, the suspect asked for a trial trip along with an employee.

The suspect along with his fellows tortured the employee and ran away with the car without paying the money.

When police followed on complaint, they opened fire at police party.

Police arrested the suspects and registered a case against them. They were identified as Ahmad alias Arqam and Shahid.

Shoe thief arrested

Civil Lines Police arrested a suspect for stealing shoes outside a mosque.

The suspect identified as Altaf Hussain would steal shoes outside Masjid-e-Shuhada on Mall Road. The suspect was identified from CCTV footage.

Man commits suicide

A 36-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself in the Nawankot area.

The victim Arif Maseeh, a resident of Ghafoor Park, reportedly was frustrated due to his poor domestic conditions.

He was so depressed that he locked himself in a room and hanged himself with a ceiling fan. Police removed body to morgue.

Firing suspect held

Shafiqabad police arrested a suspect involved in firing on main roads and uploading the videos on social media.

The arrested suspect identified as Imran alias Mani Gujjar would open fire on main roads and upload videos on social media.

Police arrested the suspect, registered a case against him and seized weapon.

Meanwhile, Raiwind Police arrested two members of a bike thieves gang.

The arrested suspects were identified as Haroon and Liaqat Ali. Police recovered six motorbikes, one pistol and bullets from their custody.
