Illegal structures demolished

LAHORE : In an operation against illegal constructions, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished several buildings here on Wednesday.

The operation was conducted on the instructions of LDA Director General Tahir Farooq in which LDA teams took action against illegal constructions in Johar Town and adjoining schemes.

Several notices were issued to the properties.

Meanwhile, under the direction of LDA DG Tahir Farooq, joint teams of LDA and MCL demolished the illegal boundary walls surrounding three kanal area at Avenue One and Khasra No 805 in Avenue One and Jubilee Town.

The joint team also conducted operation against encroachments and cattle evacuation. Over a dozen cattle were handed over to the MCL.
