SEP Club, the brainchild of Huma Nassr, founder of Shaan-e-Pakistan, orchestrated a captivating Lamyaati Ramazan Soiree at the SEP House here, which began late last night and ended in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Adorned in traditional white attire, guests including celebrities and socialites were welcomed into an ambiance brimming with heartwarming Sufi vibes and classy, artistic décor.

Among the renowned names that could be spotted were Mansha Pasha, Nadia Hussain, Tipu Sharif, Zhalay Sarhadi, Seemi Pasha, Misbah Khalid, Moomal Shunaid, Jawed Iqbal, Jimmy Engineer, Angie Marshal, Ahmed Chinoy, Irfan Perdesy, and Beenysh Pervaiz, besides many others including those from the business world.

The programme began officially with the national anthem played by the Sufi Seniyanz Band. Shanaz Ramzi, the official face of SEP, welcomed all the guests on the occasion of the joint celebration of the traditions of Sufi qawwali and Pakistan Day, and mentioned that SEP has always tried to promote music in all its genres not only in Pakistan, but worldwide, and has a history of celebrating Pakistan Day and Independence Day with gusto.

Huma Nassr then shared her plans for the future and mentioned that she planned to hold such gatherings every quarterly and revive the Club after its long hiatus. She said, “Such soirees will help to promote, art, culture, music, and cuisine and we aim to give them international prominence as well.” She also stated that the SEP House would now be open for cultural and art-related events, should anyone be interested in using it for the purpose.
