The principal of Aitchison College in Lahore has resigned due to alleged prejudiced actions by Governor House. This sort of interference in a prestigious institution is unforgivable and calls for a public apology and a retraction of the alleged request. I would ask the Punjab governor not to spoil the reputation of respectable institutions where reputable and experienced educationists have served for decades and keep them free of any politics.
Also, compelling the principal to do something which involves money, could amount to corruption if the allegations turn out to be true. Moreover, the governor of a province allegedly initiating something against the rules in order to facilitate a federal minister is a disgraceful act and would set a bad example.
