7 77,419 poor families registered in Ehsaas Programme
PESHAWAR: Provincial Food Minister Zahir Shah Toro said that more than 7, 77, 419 deserving families of the province were registered in the Ehsaas program under the Ramadan package here on Sunday.
He said this while talking to media men during the distribution of checks under the Ramadan package to deserving families.He disclosed that so far, checks worth Rs10,000 per family have been distributed to 100,000 families.
Zahir Shah Toro said the government believes in real public service and not just claims and photo sessions.The district administration and food inspection teams are checking and closely monitoring on a daily basis to prevent artificial inflation and substandard food.Ramadan package checks are being provided by Bank Al Falah, he said.
