CM aide says tourism, heritage sites being developed in KP

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister on Tourism, Culture and Archeology Zahid Chanzeb said on Sunday that the incumbent government had started working on the agenda of welfare and prosperity of people and progress of the province despite tough challenges.

Talking to members of the national and provincial assemblies, who called on him to felicitate him on taking over the portfolio of tourism and culture and apprise him of certain issues of their constituencies, he said that he would visit their respective districts to explore the new tourist, archeology sites. He assured that he will visit all over the province for the purpose to set international standards in preserving the tourism, cultural and archeology sites.

The advisor said that rare tourism and archeological treasures available in the province would be developed along modern lines and show these attractions to foreign tourists as per vision of party founder and ex-prime minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.

Zahid Chanzeb assured that all the problems and difficulties faced by the people would be resolved with full sincerity. He said that all the schemes that had not been left halfway in the province would be completed on priority basis.

“We will improve the economic condition of the people by fully exploiting all the existing resources of tourism, culture and natural resources in the province on modern lines,” he vowed.Zahid Chanzeb reiterated the pledge that their first priority was to restore lasting peace in the province as development was impossible without peace.
