Christians protest ‘desecration’ of graves
MINOGRA: The members of Christian community on Thursday staged a protest against the alleged desecration of graves in Guligram and Saidu Sharif graveyards.Holding placards and posters and chanting slogans against the mischievous act, the members Christian community said that the government must identify and arrest the accused involved in the ransacking of graves of their loved ones.
After the protest rally, the elders of the minority community met Deputy Commissioner Qasim Ali Khan and he assured them that he had issued orders for the registration of a case andarrest of the accused involved in the heinous crime.Sarfaraz Masih said that they had registered a first information report against the accused and now it was the police responsibility to arrest the accused forthwith.
