Govt to do everything to meet requirements of armed forces: Khawaja Asif
Khawaja Asif was introduced to senior officials of Defence and Defence Production ministries. He was also briefed about management and working of the ministries
ISLAMABAD: Khawaja Asif has assumed the offices of Defence Production and Defence ministries in Rawalpindi.
On the occasion, Defence Secretary Lt Gen (retd) Hamoodur Rehman Khan and other senior officials of the ministries were also present. Khawaja Asif, on assuming the offices, said the government would extend all-out support to meet the requirements of the Armed Forces of Pakistan. He said defence of the country is the top priority of the government.

The minister said that our survival depends on sovereignty of Pakistan, and our armed forces are working day and night and are ever ready for the defence of the country.
He said the nation is standing with their armed forces, adding that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will take every necessary step for the defence of Pakistan.
