Women’s Pink Games, special children events after Eid
LAHORE: Women’s Pink Games and sports competitions of special children are likely to be organised after Eidul Fitr, this information was shared by DG Youth Affairs and Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal here on Wednesday.
In this regard, Pervez Iqbal has directed the officers concerned to submit a comprehensive plan to organise these events in a befitting manner. In a statement, Pervez Iqbal said that our women have plenty of sports potential and the Pink Games will play an important role in nurturing their sports talent. “We are quite upbeat to find out several talented female athletes from Pink Games”.
He further said that sufficient playing opportunities will be provided to female athletes of the province to express their hidden sports skills. Pervez Iqbal informed that the large-scale competitions of special children will also be held for the first time after Eid-ul-Fitr. “Special children are a valuable part of our society and we are planning to hold several events for them.
