Two minors among four of a family killed in accident

Six people including four members of a family were killed while three women were injured in separate road accidents on Sunday.

Thirty-five-year-old Muhammad Najamuddin, his two sons Abdullah, 12, and Abdul Rehman, 10, and his brother Usman, 25, were killed while Mussarat, Rabia and Zeenat were injured when their car was crushed by a truck. The driver lost control over the vehicle near Nooriabad situated off Super Highway, within the ambit of the Gadap city police station, while on its way back to the city. The deceased and the injured were shifted to the Baqai Medcal Hospital for completion of medico-legal formalities and treatment.

Two-year-old Yasir, son of Yaseen, died after a vehicle ran over him near Madina Colony, situated within the ambit of the Quaidabad police station. Sixty-year-old Ahmed died after he was hit by a speeding vehicle while he was crossing the road; the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Mauripur police station.
