A teenage man allegedly strangled himself to death on the night between Friday and Saturday in the Chakiwara area of the city.
The deceased teenager was identified as 17-year-old Imran, son of Abdul
Sattar.
He lived in the Chhachhi street of Lyari. His body was brought to the Civil Hospital, Karachi.
SHO Sajid Mehmood said the teenager hanged himself from the ceiling. Citing initial investigations, the officer said the teenager wanted to marry a girl but his family members were not supporting him, due to which he was dejected. Further investigations are under way.
