The Industry 4.0 training, “Leveraging Artificial Intelligence in Power Business”, by Crystal System Group, kicked off at the Skill Development Centre of Pakistan Maritime Science and Technology Park (PMSTP) in Karachi.
Chief guest Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi, chairman of the Karachi Port Trust, graced the ceremony, emphasizing the significance of IT, software, and AI skills for the youth and the nation’s economic growth.
Rear Admiral (retd) Ahmed Fauzan HI(M), Pro Rector RIC Bahria University, highlighted the uniqueness of the Crystal System’s training facility, the first of its kind in Pakistan. The training, provided under an MoU between Bahria University and Crystal System Group, offers free education to over 10,000 Pakistani students, a commendable initiative applauded by the Pro Rector RIC.
Ms. Gabraila Divigo, CFO Crystal System Group, and Mr. Marco Rossetti, Business Director CSG, introduced the Crystal Talent Academy, emphasizing its relevance to emerging industrial needs. They congratulated the trainees and expressed gratitude to the Bahria University management for their support.
Commodore (retd) Arshad M. Khan SI(M), Director PMSTP, provided insights into the PMSTP’s contributions to the maritime industry and the national GDP. Mr. Jibran Jamshed, Talent Manager Microsoft, discussed the ongoing transition from the 4th to the 5th industrial revolution driven by AI and related disciplines.
Mr. Syedain Raza Zaidi commended the collaborative initiative of Bahria University, KESTRAL CEO Mr. Liaquat Ali Baig, and Crystal System Group in launching the industry 4.0 training. He urged students to pursue IT, software, and AI skills for economic growth, acknowledging Crystal System Group’s trust in Pakistani youth. The ceremony drew participation from CEOs of prominent tech/business firms, representatives of CSG, and DG and faculty of Bahria University Karachi Campus.
