Punjab Food Authority (PFA) continued its campaign and issued warning notices to a number of sweet shops and food sellers across the city on Friday.
A team of Allama Iqbal Town issued warning notices to Adil Samosa Patti Makers for using broken freezers and absence of medicals of workers while Data Town team issued warning notice to main cafeteria of Mayo Hospital. There were no labels present on food items while cleanliness conditions were also not up to the mark. Nishtar Town team issued warning notices to Aneeq Sweets and Burger King for using substandard oil and presence of flies at the manufacturing areas.
FIRE: Valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were burnt in an incident of fire due to short-circuit in shoes shops in the Masti Gate police limits on Friday.Rescue officials said that fire broke out due to short-circuit in shop.
