The teams listened to complaints from passport seekers and applicants and promptly issued instructions for the immediate resolution of their grievances.A significant number of applicants expressed their frustration to the inspection teams, stating that they had been visiting the offices for the past 3-4 months without any resolution. Some reported being unable to obtain their passports even after paying urgent fees, resulting in the expiration of their visas during the process.

In meetings with the office administrations, the inspection teams emphasised the need for expeditious processing to clear the backlog. They conveyed the Wafaqi Mohtasib’s directive to work during the upcoming weekend (Saturday and Sunday) to address the issues effectively.
