In this modern age, the internet has become a necessity for all. Last week, during the elections, people from across the country suffered due to the suspension of broadband internet.
This step was apparently taken due to security concerns. However, due to the internet disruption, voters encountered several problems. Businesses and key services would have also faced difficulties, while our digital economy was dealt yet another blow. The government ought not to suspend the internet, especially on such days when its presence is required.
