Special Central Court Judge Tanveer Ahmed Shaikh issued indefinite arrest warrants for Moonis Elahi by declaring him an absconder on Tuesday. The court directed the FIA to contact Interpol and take the necessary measures to apprehend Moonis Elahi, who had intentionally concealed himself. The FIA is expected to pursue legal action for the arrest of the accused.

Recent reports indicate that the FIA has indeed communicated with Interpol about Munis Elahi’s arrest. In response, Moonis Elahi claims that he is being accused in a case where his friend allegedly created an offshore company for money laundering on behalf of him and his father. He argues that the company was established when he and his friends were three years old.
