2 cops, passers-by shot & injured

SWABI: Two policemen, including an assistant sub-inspector, and three passers-by were wounded when ice addicts opened fire on them here on Thursday, stated a police official on Thursday.
DSP Jawad Khan said the police raided ice addicts within the limits of Kunda police post, but the latter opened fire, to which the cops also retaliated.However, head constable Bahar Ali was seriously injured due to which he was shifted to a hospital in Peshawar. ASI Aamir Khan and the passers-by were shifted to Bacha Khan Teaching Hospital at Shahmansoor.The police also launched a search operation in the area.
