HARIPUR: Unidentified accused shot dead a young man and dumped his body in the wheat fields near his home, police officials said on Wednesday.
The officials quoted Muhammad Nawaz of Kalu Pind village as saying that his son Muhammad Aqib, 20, left home for hunting in the evening but failed to get back home. According to the complainant, the body of his son was found lying near their home the next morning.
The police shifted the body to Trauma Centre where the autopsy was carried out. Doctors and police officials said that the body carried two bullet wounds, one in the chest and the other in the back. The police registered a case against the unknown accused as the complainant refused to nominate anyone saying that he has no enmity.
