PTI’s independents to back PTIP after win: Khattak
Khattak stated that no one could hinder his path to becoming the chief minister of the province
CHARSADDA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf -Parliamentarians (PTIP) head and former chief minister Pervez Khattak said on Monday that most of the PTI nominees contesting elections as independent candidates were his friends who would align with him after winning the general elections.
Addressing a gathering in Sardheri area, Khattak stated that no one could hinder his path to becoming the chief minister of the province.“Pakistan is a great country, but it has been burdened with debts due to the actions of the looters,” he said.
He attributed the economic challenges to the extravagant lifestyles of rulers, who borrowed loans for their luxury and later burdened the poor citizens with repayments.Khattak said that only honest leaders could bring progress to the country. He urged the public to choose trustworthy leaders in the elections scheduled for February 8.He criticised political figures, including Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and Imran Khan, after accusing them of causing harm to the nation.
