LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi has termed caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi the second Sher Shah Suri of Punjab.
He said this while distributing the special grant cheques among the presidents and general secretaries of the press clubs across Punjab in a ceremony held at CM Office Sunday. The minister paid tributes to the public service by Mohsin Naqvi.
The minister stated that Mohsin Naqvi was the second Sher Shah Suri of Punjab. It was heartening to know that a handsome amount worth Rs94.5 million was distributed among the press clubs across Punjab without any discrimination.
Mohsin Naqvi not only cared about roads and hospitals but journalists as well, he said, adding Mohsin Naqvi works diligently to provide maximum relief to the people of the province. ‘When I watch TV in the morning then I see Mohsin Naqvi on the screen busy in visiting some project,’ Solangi said.The presidents and general secretaries of the press clubs across Punjab declared Mohsin Naqvi a ‘Benefactor of Journalism’.
