A woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of a residential building in Karachi on Thursday, police said.
The incident occurred in the North Karachi area within the limits of the Khawaja Ajmir Nagri police station. Following the incident, police and rescue services reached the spot and shifted the casualty to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.
The woman was identified as 46-year-old Shumaila Yasmin. Police said that she along with her three children lived in an apartment on the seventh floor of the building.
