Festival held for police martyrs’ families
The Karachi police on Sunday held a fun gala for the families of the martyrs of the law enforcement department. The event was organised by the District Keamari police.
A family fun gala featuring a colourful ceremony was held for children of the martyrs at the Port Grand Karachi. Karachi police chief Addl IGP Khadim Hussain Rind participated as a special guest in the Police Family Festival.
In the festival, special arrangements were made for the children of the martyrs of the Keamari police, including magic shows, circus performances, cycling, and other recreational facilities and dinner.
Over 250 people from the homes of 50 martyrs participated in the dinner. Police officers joined hands with children, interacted with the families and inquired about their life situations during the dinner.
For the first time, the Keamari police district organised a unique recreational programme for the children of the martyrs, said South Zone police chief DIG Asad Raza.
